About Marcelina

With 7 years of experience as a mental health professional, I uprooted into becoming self-employed and opting for teaching.
I graduated from my Masters in Psychological Wellbeing in Clinical Practice with a 1st Honours Degree, receiving 90% for my research - investigating the effects of a Mindfulness intervention I designed in my previous workplace. Research methods, intervention design and psychological wellbeing are my areas of expertise.

I’m a curious and creative individual who enjoys exploring new ideas and connecting with others. I have a great sense of humour, a flexible outlook on life, and a passion for continuous learning. Whether diving into a good book, trying out new recipes, or enjoying the outdoors, I’m always looking for ways to grow and make meaningful experiences.

I also am offering proofreading services (the same hourly rate applies).

About the lesson

My tutoring style is flexible, fun, and focused on creating a positive learning experience. I bring a sense of humour to our sessions to keep things engaging and stress-free, and I adapt my teaching to fit each student’s unique needs. With experience teaching English as a second language in an interactive and enjoyable way, I know how to make complex topics feel accessible and even fun to learn

I'm here to help you achieve the best outcomes in your exams, assignments, and dissertations. I am open to help those with little knowledge, as well as guide those who have complex assignments and research designs.

Perfect! My Son have had a few lessons now with Marcelina. She is great with him, she gets him to do work, she gives homework that actually work. My son is doing A level Psychology exams this summer, she is really helping him to fine turn that exam answering structures. He is happy with her teaching. Also Marcelina communicate with and give feedback which I really appreciate.
