My tutoring approach is simple and effective: I go over problems to show how they can be solved, and then have the student do those problems on their own to see if they understand, making corrections as needed. My goal is to help the student develop an intuition about the material so that they have the confidence and ability to solve any problems that they encounter. I also have a great deal of patience, which is the most important quality that a tutor can have.
