Hi, I'm Om Patel, a dedicated pre-med student. I understand the challenges of rigorous coursework and Vanderbilt's grade deflation policy. That's why I've developed unique study methods to excel. Teaching others and using my mirror for self-study have honed my expertise in biology and chemistry. For math, I've mastered concepts through collaborative problem-solving. In high school, I tutored people for AP tests and ACT. I helped people go from low 20s to 32+ scores.

Unlock your potential with my tutoring services! As a pre-med student at Vanderbilt, I foster critical thinking skills in math, bio, chem, and physics. Emphasizing understanding and application over memorization, I empower students to think critically, unleashing their true academic abilities. Experience the difference!

I look at problems my students are having. For example, if students are struggling in calculus. I ask them to do a problem, and if they can, I check their steps and answer. Sometimes, my students will get the question right, but on the test they won't; so I help them with test anxiety. If there's a concept that they struggle with, we go through their mistakes and misconceptions and talk about how we can avoid that. If my students have no idea or didn't learn well from class, I can give an individualized lesson in which we start from the basics and build up.

I teach anyone from middle school (which would mostly be math and some biology) to high school (which would be anywhere from geometry to calculus (specialize in AP Calculus) for math + all science levels).
