About the lesson

My teaching approach is based on gaining basic knowledge about a student's interests and a student's demonstrable academic skills as a starting point. It can begin with a simple "who I am" written survey. After a brief discussion about the survey's responses, both student and tutor (me) start to build a step-by-step plan to address the academic and "staying on task" skills that are most challenging. Tutoring is a shared experience.
