About Nick
Hi! I’m Nick, a mechanical engineering graduate with a strong passion for teaching math and physics to students from Grade 1 to 12. With several years of hands-on experience in engineering, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how these subjects apply in real life—and I love helping students see how the concepts they learn in class actually matter.
I focus on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence. Whether it’s mastering the basics in elementary school, improving grades in high school, or preparing for final exams, I tailor every lesson to fit each student’s needs and learning pace.
My goal is to make math and physics less intimidating and more enjoyable. I’m currently based in the GTA and offer both online and in-person lessons with flexible scheduling. I speak English fluently and I’m also learning French.
If you’re looking for a patient, reliable tutor who genuinely cares about helping students succeed, feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to help your child grow their skills and confidence.

My lessons are designed to make math and physics clear, approachable, and even enjoyable—no matter your current level. Whether you're in Grade 1 learning the basics or in high school preparing for exams, I adapt each session to suit your learning pace and goals.
In our first lesson, I’ll take time to understand your current level, any challenges you're facing, and what you hope to achieve. From there, I’ll create a personalized plan that focuses on building your understanding step by step. I use real-life examples to explain concepts, and I’ll regularly check in to make sure everything makes sense before moving forward.
You can expect a supportive and patient environment where it’s completely okay to make mistakes and ask questions. I’ll help you strengthen your problem-solving skills, prepare for tests, and most importantly, build confidence in the subject. I also provide practice problems, clear explanations, and tips for improving study habits.
Whether you're struggling or aiming to get ahead, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Nick was my math tutor this year, and honestly, he made such a huge difference for me. I was really struggling with some of the Grade 12 functions and advanced topics, but he explained everything in a way that actually made sense. He clearly understands the Canadian curriculum really well, and he always connected what we were learning back to what was expected in class and on exams.
What I appreciated most is that he never made me feel dumb for not getting something right away. He was super patient, and he always made sure I understood the why, not just the steps. After a few lessons with him, my confidence went up so much, and my grades improved too. I ended the semester with a mark I’m really proud of, and I know I couldn’t have done it without his help. He’s definitely someone you can trust to help you succeed.Nick is trustworthy and would make a great teacher because he genuinely cares about helping others succeed and takes the time to ensure his explanations are clear and easy to understand. When he teaches, he doesn’t just repeat information—he breaks down complex ideas into simple steps and makes sure you actually understand the concept, not just memorize it.
Thanks to Nick’s guidance, my grades improved significantly. He helped me approach problems with a more logical mindset and showed me techniques I hadn’t considered before. He’s patient, never makes you feel bad for asking questions, and always follows up to make sure you’re keeping up. That consistency and care made a real difference in my confidence and performance in class.View more recommendations
