About Lila
I’m a violin tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Violin Performance. I love working with young children, using playful and age-appropriate strategies to make learning enjoyable. My lessons often include storytelling, rhythm games, and movement to keep little learners engaged and excited. I introduce simple melodies that help build technique while nurturing musicianship from the start. I draw on Suzuki and Kodály-inspired methods to create a strong foundation in ear training and musical understanding. These approaches encourage children to learn naturally and confidently. My teaching style is warm, patient, and designed to spark imagination. I believe that music should be a joyful experience for every child. Through fun and creative activities, I help students develop both skill and a love for the violin. My violin teaching methodology centers on physical awareness, mental focus, and cultivating musical flow. I emphasize breathing techniques to support relaxed playing and steady tone production. A relaxed left-hand technique is key to preventing tension and enabling fluid finger movement. Smooth, controlled bowing helps students achieve expressive sound and dynamic control.

Building healthy practice habits is essential, so I guide learners to pace themselves and avoid strain or injury. This approach fosters both emotional safety and physical ease, creating a calm and supportive learning space.
