About Daphne

I am a Biology tutor with over 10 years of experience and a BSc in Cell and Molecular Biology. My academic and research background is rooted in molecular immunology and antibody engineering. I have a deep passion for exploring antibody structure and understanding how these molecules recognize and neutralize pathogens. My expertise also covers immune cell signaling pathways that drive protective and pathological immune responses.
I have worked extensively on vaccine development strategies, combining theory and practical insights into how vaccines elicit robust immunity. My experience in therapeutic antibody design allows me to guide students through the fascinating process of creating targeted biological therapies. I enjoy breaking down complex topics like B-cell and T-cell interactions, cytokine networks, and monoclonal antibody production into clear, understandable concepts.
Over the years, I’ve mentored students interested in biomedical research, pharmacology, and drug development, helping them align their studies with their career goals. Whether it’s preparing for exams, tackling assignments, or conceptualizing research projects, I tailor my teaching to each student’s needs.
