About Zoe
With over 7 years of teaching experience and a DMA in Violin Performance, lessons combine technical skill with emotional exploration. Students are encouraged to express themselves, release emotions, and engage in musical storytelling. Improvisation, soundscape creation, and journaling are used to foster mindfulness and personal reflection. The approach is designed to support stress reduction and emotional growth. Neurodiverse learners, trauma survivors, and adult students seeking healing are welcomed. Technical development and expressive freedom are cultivated together. Students explore their inner voice and develop confidence through improvisation and musical creativity. Repertoire and exercises are personalised to each student’s needs. Lessons are structured, supportive, and compassionate. Music becomes a tool for self-expression, emotional processing, and mindfulness. Each session encourages exploration, creativity, and connection. Students gain skill, confidence, and emotional insight. Together, the violin becomes a path to healing, self-discovery, and well-being.

Lessons are designed to develop natural, expressive, and controlled vibrato. Students practise managing speed, width, and application for musical phrasing. The Voice Actor learns to use vibrato for tonal storytelling and emotional nuance. The Adult Confidence Builder gains structured, progressive exercises to build comfort and mastery. Technical drills are applied in scales, études, and repertoire. Feedback is consistent to ensure steady improvement and expressive accuracy. Exercises enhance hand flexibility, coordination, and timing. Vibrato is integrated with dynamics, phrasing, and musical interpretation. Repertoire provides opportunities to use vibrato creatively.
