About Mark
My name is Mark Porter and I teach BTEC Business Levels 2 and 3 for a 6th Form College in the South of England.
Prior to teaching I worked for a number of global businesses in a variety of roles in Financial Services for the last 20 years. This has given me a wealth of industry-relevant experience to help bring the subject to life for students.
Gaining your BTEC qualification is all about 3 steps.
1. understanding the content,
2. being able to apply it to real or fictional buisnesses
3. writing about it in a simple way that shows your understanding - so this is broadly how I structure my teaching.
