My piano teaching approach is designed to demystify music theory by connecting it directly to the instrument. Theory topics such as chord progressions, inversions, and harmonic analysis are taught as living elements of music rather than just written rules. The Classical Performer gains tools to interpret repertoire with greater depth and insight. My lessons are structured but always flexible to meet the individual student’s goals. I use exercises, real repertoire, and improvisation to reinforce ideas. We also explore how theory supports composition and arrangement, opening doors for creativity.
