About Yvonne
With over 5 years of experience and a DMA in Violin Performance, I guide students through a holistic and therapeutic approach to learning. I focus on self-expression, emotional release, and musical storytelling to promote mindfulness and well-being. Improvisation, soundscape creation, and journaling are key components of my lessons. I work with neurodiverse learners, trauma survivors, and adults seeking emotional healing through music. Each session provides a safe, supportive space to explore creativity and emotions. Students learn to connect their feelings to sound, building expressive confidence. I integrate technical development with mindful and therapeutic musical exploration. Lessons emphasise intuition, personal voice, and emotional storytelling. Playing the violin becomes a tool for reflection, resilience, and inner peace. Students develop both skill and emotional awareness. I encourage experimentation, freedom, and authentic musical expression. My goal is to help learners use music as a powerful path to self-discovery and healing.

I teach violin with a focus on fluent, confident sight-reading. Students learn to read ledger lines, multi-part scores, and complex rhythms with ease. My systematic methodology builds strong visual-to-finger coordination for instant execution. Exercises help students recognise musical patterns quickly. The Musical Theatre Enthusiast and The Worship Singer benefit from personalised guidance to read new music effortlessly. Each lesson balances technical drills and repertoire practice. I emphasise accuracy, timing, and musical expression. Sight-reading becomes intuitive and enjoyable through structured practice. Students gain independence and confidence in performing unfamiliar pieces. Lessons are interactive, practical, and progress-oriented. I guide learners to develop skill, speed, and expressive ability simultaneously. My goal is to help students play new music fluently and confidently every time.
