About Rishie
I am currently an architecture student, completed a Diploma of IT and discontinued a computer science degree. I have knowledge in visual communication design, story-telling, information technology, arithmetic, physics, trigonometry, geometry and history. I'm someone that is passionate about they teach and have been teaching multiple students, typically in primary school and early high school, whom have all had great and rewarding teaching experiences with me, I can promise I won't disappoint, I understand that everyone learns at different paces and with different methods and can reassure you that you'll leave each lesson, having learnt something new.

I like to keep lessons short with classes up to a maximum of one hour with breaks in between, however I like to stick with 30 minute classes so the brain doesn't get put under a lot of strain. Studies have shown that students that divide study sessions into short chunks tend to retain information better. Also I generally ask students to explain what they learnt in their own way (they could use metaphors, diagrams, etc.) , by doing this, it shows they understand the information rather than just accepting everything I just said is true, which brings me to my next point, I encourage students to ask questions about the source material and information, so they understand how scholars have reached certain conclusions. Finally I love to provide visuals when teaching (e.g: video, diagram, infographic, etc.), they often provide large amounts of information efficiently and are often great tool for creative people like myself.
