About Matt
Teaching requires two things: an ardent interest in subject matter and a desire to share that knowledge and enthusiasm with students.
After 15 years teaching biology, anatomy and physiology and microbiology, I understand the subject material and have the enthusiasm to share that information. I continue to be motivated by a desire to reach all students.

- I teach using PowerPoint and the whiteboard.
- My typical lesson plan follows the textbook chapters used by the student. I explain them so they are understandable.
- I enjoy teaching. I tend to use humor as a way to keep students interested.
- I usually teach students who want to enter the healthcare system, such as pre-nursing student.
