About Laury
In addition to my French maîtrise, I have an MBA from Northridge. I worked as Chief Financial /Opération Officer or Executive Director for non profit organizations. I also taught extensively to pay for my studies (all 8 years of it). I am a certified College Teacher (I taught at the Lycée Français and at Pasadena City College). I am retired and would enjoy passing on some of my accumulated knowledge.

Anybody can learn anything. You need to guide the student towards the joy of learning. Teaching French is easy because there is so much to discover in the culture once you learn that your sentences do not have to be perfect for communicating. I use the excitement of French culture to start discussions and include necessary grammar as a fun game necessary to continue the exploration.
