About Taylor
As a University of Michigan graduate deeply involved in both public schools and college learning centers, I’ve dedicated my career to helping “lost” students find solid ground and pride in science. My approach is positive, energetic, and highly visual—I make every lesson about gaining understanding and confidence, even if you started off hating biology! I use music, stories, even snack metaphors to make things click, and I track your progress every step (with real graphs!). Over a decade, I’ve helped many students raise their science averages 20% or more, and to me, every new breakthrough is a reason to celebrate.

Struggling with biology? Still trying to figure out what your teacher is actually saying in class? My sessions are built for students at square one—from grade school through your first college bio class. We build understanding through imagination: science becomes a series of stories and real-life “adventures” (like how a pizza turns into energy!), not just facts to memorize. Every session is full of simple diagrams, real-world examples, and easy “draw it or see it” activities. We stop often for questions and tiny recap games—so you know you’re on track.
At lesson’s end, you’ll receive a tidy review map, a short list of “aha!” moments, and quick challenge prompts (“find biology in this week’s playlist”). My favorite part? Seeing basic students start smiling and believing, “I can DO science—who knew?”
