Jake is an excellent Maths tutor. He is a highly-skilled mathematician and adapts his subject knowledge to all major exam board curricula. He is a motivational and compassionate teacher, challenging his students to achieve their best. His lessons are always engaging and well thought-out, adapting them for the needs of each individual student through assessing their strengths and weaknesses. I know Jake through a mutual hobby. Jake taught me maths towards the 4 major auditing firms (KPMG, EY, PWC and Deloitte) due to their online maths exams. He was patient and good at explaining maths concepts in a way that was understandable and could be applied immediately. I passed all their tests and scored 100% on each of the exams so the lessons paid off! Beyond his knowledge and ability to teach by explaining and demonstrating the concepts he is also very genuine and does not give off any elitism vibe you can find in snooty teachers. He is the first person I go to with any maths problem and always will be!
