About Finn
I am an 18 year-old who recently received A-Level results of A*A*A*A* in Maths, Further Maths, History and English Literature. I will be attending the University of Oxford from October, to study Philosophy, Politics and Economics. In my GCSEs, I achieved straight grade 9s, including in Statistics GCSE, which I took a year early.
In my Maths A-level, I received 293/300 marks, never dropping below 97 marks on any of the three papers. I saw similar success in Further Maths A-level. In the UKMT maths challenges, I have also done well, always scoring top in my year and being invited to the UKMT Kangaroo.
My experience of studying A-Levels of both essay and mathematical subjects ensures that my tutoring will combine clear explanations alongside a strong level of maths skill.

If you have a specific problem area regarding a topic covered in GCSE or A-Level Maths, I will be able to assist you. The length of a lesson would be largely dependent on the number of problem areas you provide, and I promise that these problems will be rigorously addressed. Tutoring can be done through the streaming of a 'Miro' or 'Mural' whiteboard, or a different preferred method.
I am most familiar with the Edexcel exam board, and would be able to give tips which I have previously deployed, and which helped me achieve 97.66% of marks in the 2022 A-Level Maths exam, and 97.33% in Further Maths Core Pure papers. Aside from mathematical experience, I have good knowledge of how to help people improve at maths, particularly through assisting classmates in GCSE and A-Level maths.
