About Margaret
I am a retired teacher who has worked with high school and adult learners of varying IQs. I am experienced at writing learning plans and helping my students set their own goals for success, while identifying those areas you need more work on and your learning strengths. I possess a deep fund of knowledge about a variety of subjects, and am especially skilled at teaching students how to write effectively. Teaching test taking, study and time management skills are also my strengths.

Not all students learn the same way. Some are visually dominant while others learn more from hearing what they need to know. Some are mixed learners. I will assess you for any barriers to learning, whether they be physical, literacy, comprehension, problem- solving, anxiety and stress coping skills, executive function. We will identify areas of weakness and target those for improvement, while adding to areas of strength.
