About Cody

I have the benefit of having learned German in both academic (BA in German from ASU) and real-world (living in Germany) environments, so I know the language both by the book and how it is colloquially spoken/practically applied. As a prior service member of the military, you can be sure that my level of professionalism is above standard.

About the lesson

Although English is a Germanic language, many still have a difficult time with gender (der, die, das), grammatical cases (nominativ, akkusativ, dativ, imperativ), and verb conjugation (past perfekt, plusquamperfekt, futur, usw.). I am highly proficient in these areas and also have great pronunciation, which I am happy to help students with! Vocabulary lessons are also enjoyable for me to teach. In fact, there's nothing I don't enjoy instructing about the language!
