About Rishin
Hello my name is Rishin and I am a third year medical student who passionately teaches maths to students at KS3 and GCSE level in hourly lessons.
I have officially been tutoring maths for one year and have helped all of my students to excel in their exams and achieve the grades they desire. In addition to this I have multiple years of experience in helping family and friends with their homework.
I sat my GCSEs just 4 years ago so I have a strong understanding of modern exams and also how it feels to be a student at this point. I have a 9 in GCSE and A in A level maths, and can therefore teach others how to also achieve these high grades.

I typically start the first lesson by getting to know the student and what their goals are so that I can create a good rapport with them and understand what they're trying to achieve. From here, we then practice some questions so I can a gauge an understanding of their ability and also how they like to work.
I always personalise my teaching to each student specifically so that it is: helpful; enjoyable; and brings out the best in all of my students.
My lessons are always online and can be done on: Zoom; Microsoft Teams; Google Classroom; or Skype. Whilst I encourage the webcam to be on most of the time, I do also understand if you would prefer not to.
My overall aims are to help each of my students reach their target grade and become more confident in maths.
