About Grace
I've been playing the piano since the age of 5, and it has always been my passion since then. I learnt classical piano until age 16, then got into jazz piano and decided to major in jazz performance at University of Auckland. After graduating, I started teaching straight away and it's always a pleasure to see students excel and enjoy playing the piano, which is what drives me to be a good teacher.

I always try to make my lessons fun, doing some quizzes and games for the younger ones. I also like playing duet pieces with students which is always fun!
Coming from both classical and jazz background, I am able to teach many genres not only limited to classical and jazz, but also pop, gospel, contemporary (e.g. new age), so you can feel free to bring in whatever piece you'd like to learn! I've also been teaching theory for 5+ years for anyone who wants a better foundation.
