About Garrett
I have Spanish speaking abilities spanning my primary and secondary education in a classroom setting. I used that ability to tutor high school students and young kids alike. My ability to work with both small groups and larger crowds allows me to deliver my best teaching, whatever the needs are for the student. I provide an individualized, lesson-by-lesson structure that, if implemented, will lead to incremental improvement through repetition and recognition as well as immersive speaking practice. I work well through challenges and can even help with accents/pronunciation (although I still haven’t gotten the rolling of “rr”!). Expect a high standard and a fast-paced learning environment from me.

I have multiple years of Spanish speaking experience under my belt from classes I took in middle school and high school. Spanish is my second language and I have traveled to multiple Spanish speaking countries—Spain, Argentina, and Mexico. My Spanish can still develop and through teaching I will work alongside students to develop a sense of professionalism. I believe in my ability to give a detailed lesson to students who care about the language work they are creating. This process-oriented approach allows me to help students work on their language skills.
