About Melissa
I am a high school mathematics teacher who has 17 years teaching experience. I have taught all high school math subjects from Pre-Algebra through AP Calculus. I am also able to teach concepts from Physics as well! I love to work with students all across the learning spectrum. In addition to my mathematics teaching experience, I have a 2nd degree in Special Education and love to work with students who have learning needs beyond those addressed in the general education classroom!

I like to support student learning one-on-one. As a teacher, I create engaging and interactive lessons. As a tutor, I meet students where they are and get them to feel more comfortable with the math they are learning. I can both work on assignments from in the classroom and support with additional work, as necessary!
