About Kendall
I am a female math and science teacher with a background in chemistry. I grew up being a peer tutor and always wanting to help others. Growing up I also had a passion for cheerleading, dance, and tennis. My major focus throughout college was working with struggling students and students with disabilities. I am working on finishing my graduate degree in science education. I have taught in Lansing, Detroit, Columbus, and now in California.

I love to model problems, then work collaboratively with students on problems until they can independently solve problems on their own. I also look over curriculum from the class the student is currently taking and design materials to help the student practice/review further.
Lessons should involve the student bringing work from the class they need support in unless the purpose of the lesson is for general review between school years or semesters. Lessons are for any students 6th grade - freshman year of college for basic level classes.
As a credentialed teacher I have an idea of what school systems will be giving in terms of assessments and expectations for students.
