About Melissa
I am currently a graduate student pursuing my master's degree in veterinary biomedical science and will be starting veterinary school in the spring. I was a tutor for upper-level courses in high school for subjects in Math and Science. I also worked as a tutor in the athletic department working with student athletes at the University of Tennessee also in Math and Science courses. I have also worked as a college preparatory advisor for high school students, so I am confident in my ability to help students throughout their academic careers.

I'm a good tutor because I tailor every lesson to the learning style and needs of the student! There is no one-size-fits-all method that I follow. I like to begin the lessons by reviewing previous material and then moving on to the new information. I understand how important it is to connect with students to make an impact on learning so I strive to make sure each student is comfortable and confident during lessons!
