I am more process oriented than result oriented. On my first job realized that the expectations for deadlines as a student and as a professional are very different. You not just have to produce good quality but also deliver at a great speed. Oftentimes i feel that students including myself in the past get comfortable with the deadlines set to us by schools as our expectations in industry when it's just not true. I want to be able to help and teach students effective ways to get not just got but also fast at animation using creative workflows and developing problem solving skills in addition to artistic skills.
With every new assignment I want to plan the shot the student does with them ,demo them a general process on how I would tackle it , and send them a video recording of it. Students are free to ask questions in the class regarding anything as well. If a student wants to focus on a particular thing in an assignment they can let me know ahead so I can help them out better.
