About Dan
After having graduated from the University of Geneva - Physics, I entered the private sector in the field of Information Technology. As an IT, I administered networks and developed applications for the industrial sector (aeronautics, chemical industry, IT security), following which, I moved on to project management and training.
As a scientist, I pursued with my teaching activities in the branches of Physics, Maths, Sciences and Chemistry.
Over the years, I have worked with students of various ages and levels. For each and every one of them, the attention to their needs and points of interest made the difference: I understood that the scale upon which we measure success is not necessarily the amount of information, but the way this information is received and integrated, the way it transforms the student. It is when this transformation takes place that grades and exam results naturally follow:
literally, My success is Your success.

My teaching method is based on a mature and proven guiding principle: full attention to the indications and information provided by the student and to the needs and requests coming from the student. As a trainer, it became clear to me that the teacher acts as a bridge between the information stored as in a reservoir, and the receiver wishing to acquire it. During this process, the energy transfer takes place both ways. The student-to-teacher channel is in fact just as effective and wide open as the one that carries information from the trainer to the student.
In this context, a question I receive, will inform me on How I should provide the answer (and not just What the answer is) so that the process of learning is not just an accumulation of information in a database, but is accompanied by the formation of neural paths necessary to Find this information and integrate it into the global landscape. This way you learn new things and what to do with them.
