About Yana
I love to teach as well as learn. I don’t back down from a challenge and I don’t get frustrated when a student gets frustrated. I find a way to help them find a way to figure out how to make the lesson stick. Whether it be word play, word association, or some type of game, etc. Different people have different ways and styles of learning that might work for one person and might not work for another. I’m here to find out what works for you, and will have you speaking Greek in no time. OPA!

I was born in the US to two Greek immigrant parents who had to teach themselves English but were strong in heritage and spoke Greek at home and took us to Greece every summer. I taught myself how to read and write Greek on my own as a child in those summer trips as a child. The strong Greek heritage and passion for learning were passed on to me by my parents and I’d love to pass that on to you.
