About Justin
Attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro for Music Education and Performance for Trumpet.
Nearly a decade of experience in playing trumpet, reading sheet music, studying music theory, and performing in a professional setting for both jazz and classical music.
Over 15 years of experience as a guitarist including nearly a decade playing in a professional setting, as well as 3 years teaching private lessons to students of any age from 6-60 years old.

I believe firmly in teaching my students the basics of music theory from the ground up, whether learning guitar or trumpet, in order to not only help my students play the music they love, but to understand their instrument fundamentally as well. Through my lessons you will not only gain the knowledge and skills to play your favorite songs, but also the ability to understand the music theory and potentially create your own art. In teaching this way, my lessons are accessible for students of any age or skill level, whether children or adults.
