About John
What I noticed when translating Japanese to English is that what makes Japanese difficult, besides the characters, is that the structure of the sentences is almost completely reverse that of English. To overcome this difficulty, I will get you speaking shorter sentences used in everyday life, making sure your pronunciation and intonation are natural, and will work with you until you develop fluency and the ability to create longer sentences while maintaining correct structure and fluency. I push for a higher level from my students, but we have fun as we learn and improve!
