About Edward
I have taught in Harpenden and Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire as well as Abu Dhabi which has given me a good range of challenges. I also taught years 5-8 for 18 months to help me further understand how students now learn. My specialities lie in stretching students aiming for A-A* but this year I did tutor a student who was on a U and manged to get him to a C.

The initially 4 lessons are set to ensure that you know the core information, for example most teachers miss that you need to know the last 10 years of the UK economic stats and the global trends for the last 25. After then it is up to the student but they tend to prefer it to be led by myself, I will send the student resources to work through as well including videos I have made.
I also help the students with UCAS statements and interviews if needed, I specialise in Oxbridge applications. Lessons are typically an hour but can be longer if you wish, I have tutored GCSE & A-Level.
