Ms. Harvey is a wonderful teacher, mother, and friend. I met her at Berkmar High School, I became a different person when she started to teach me 10th Language Art because she taught me how to write, read and talk English. English is my second language thanks to Ms. Harvey’s lessons. I came from Honduras 5 years ago, by the time I was so embarrassed to speak English with people in school or out of school because of my accent and there was some words I couldn’t say, but she patently helped me with it. I remember how she used to teach me how write essays, I thought I was never going to learn how to write a great essay but she has so many skills to teach how to write a perfect essay. Ms. Harvey is a hardworking woman, who loves to teach. she’s respectful, lovely, smart, patient, and beautiful person. I love Ms. Harvey, being in her class made me the person I am today! ️

I had Ms. Harvey sophomore year in high school as my very first English teacher in the U.S. And she was beyond anything I could have hoped for in a teacher. Ms. Harvey has a very interactive teaching style, she always had the class interested as well as eager to participate. To me, she was more than a teacher, she was a good friend! I used to share with her my new experiences and the cultural differences I encountered and she would give me the greatest advice. She has always been so supportive and I’m grateful to know her!
Natalie Harvey is one of the most incredible teachers that I ever had in my life. As a second language speaker, she taught me to believe in myself even when I lost my faith. She encourages me to always do my best and never give up. Also, she gave me the strength to follow my dream to became a nurse. Now, I’m a college student at De Anza College, California. Everything that I am today is because of her. I strongly recommend her. Ms. Harvey’s dedication, patience, and determination have allowed me to pursue my goals in life.
