About Laramie

Salvete vos omnes! I have been studying Latin for the past 17 years, and have only seen my passion for the subject grow. My experience means that I'm able to provide simple, clear explanations of complex features of the language. I'm here to help anyone succeed!

About the lesson

I create practice assignments according to the individual's text/curriculum, which we then work through together. I have experience teaching and tutoring from many textbooks. Depending on individual need, I reteach topics and provide notes.

I can provide lessons for any level of Latin.

Perfect! Ms. Laramie is an excellent teacher that guides, engages, and supports student in all their Latin goals. She is committed and attentive to a student, and is able to help students overcome all their areas of weakness. She is fun and makes a student feel comfortable, while also elevating a student’s knowledge and academic ability. I am so glad I found her and am excited to keep learning with Ms. Laramie! I have never had a Latin teacher that is simultaneously exceedingly knowledgeable in Latin and Roman History/Culture, very enjoyable to be taught by, and dedicated beyond belief.

Aside from being exceptionally polite, Thomas is clearly very diligent with the effort he puts into his studies. We discussed a few areas of improvement, starting with declensions and moving onto remembering how to translate various verb tenses. I very much enjoyed getting to work with him!
