About Nila
Hi! I'm Nila, a high school music student with a deep love for theory, note reading, and the way music connects people. I play a few instruments and have spent years studying music both in and outside of school. What really drives me is helping younger kids discover how fun and fascinating music can be. I’ve worked closely with children through volunteering, and I know how to create a calm, patient, and encouraging environment where they feel comfortable learning and asking questions. As someone who understands what it’s like to be a student, I explain things in a way that’s simple, clear, and easy to remember. I’m reliable, organized, and genuinely excited to help kids start their musical journey with confidence and curiosity.

As a dedicated high school music student and multi-instrumentalist, I offer engaging, beginner-friendly lessons focused on music theory, note reading, and listening skills. My goal is to help young learners build a solid understanding of how music works before or alongside learning an instrument.
Each lesson includes fun and age-appropriate activities like rhythm clapping, sight-reading games, flashcards, and music puzzles. I break down music theory in a simple, visual way—using examples that make sense to kids and keep them interested. Whether we’re learning about note names, time signatures, or musical symbols, I make sure every concept feels clear and doable.
What sets me apart is my experience working with young children and my ability to explain music in a patient, relatable way. I create a calm, welcoming environment where kids feel safe to ask questions and explore.
These lessons are perfect for children ages 4–10 who are curious about music, want to prepare before starting an instrument, or need extra support with music theory and reading.
