About Grace
I am eighteen years old and a high school senior at Thayer Academy. I work at Head Over Heels Gymnastics as a coach and Galway Rovers FC as a soccer coach, so I have lots of experience with kids.
I grew up attending an immersion school called Su Escuela Language Academy in Hingham, where I learned every subject (aside from English and Mandarin) in Spanish. I lived abroad in Zaragoza, Spain, doing a nine-month program called SYA (School Year Abroad). I also have plans to intern at SELA for my senior project in May, and I currently peer tutor Spanish at my school.
I plan to major in Spanish in college, and I have a lot of love for the language!

As I am still in High School, I understand what it means to be a student and what learning techniques help learn and engage students. Making learning a game challenges the mind to want to keep learning and encouraging reading and listening to Spanish whenever possible.
Since I have been speaking Spanish my whole life, it comes to me almost naturally, but I am currently learning Portuguese which makes me a current language student as well, and I understand the process of learning a language.
I can understand practically anything, grammar is a strong-suit of mine, whereas my speaking always needs improvement and practice.
My lessons are targeted at students in high school or younger who need help with schoolwork or simply want a better understanding of Spanish as a whole.
