About Elizabeth
In 1989, I was a founding teacher of Providence Christian School, an experimental academically accelerated private Christian school in Dallas, Texas. Beginning in 1995, I home educated my 8 children through high school. My kids have gone on to pursue a variety of interests which include a master's degree in medieval history, two non-profits, two for-profit businesses, professional vocalist, martial arts instructor, commercial fishing, to name a few. While I am experienced in the school system, my favored approach to learning is one on one, where the student is the sole focus, learning in an environment which develops his or her individual gifts.

With 30 years of experience as a homeschool and private school teacher and tutor, I bring expertise and strategies tailored to each student's needs. My background spans a wide range of learning styles, age groups, and academic challenges, giving me insight and adaptability to help each student. As a mother of eight and grandmother of six, I understand that every individual learns differently, and I bring both professional expertise and a nurturing approach to every lesson. In the years since the pandemic when schools were closed, I have helped many elementary students fill the gaps in their education and overcome challenges related to dyslexia and ADD.
