About Angelina
Hi! I'm Angie, and I'm currently majoring in Physics and minoring in Astronomy at the University of Central Florida. My goal is to eventually become an astrophysicist at NASA. I've always been fascinated by the beauty of math and have a passion for learning more about it every day. I love to engage my students with this passion and hope that they leave with the same love for math I have!

Math is a beautiful and fascinating subject, although it has a negative reputation because of the way it is taught in traditional classroom settings. Rather than teaching students to memorize and apply formulas, I focus on teaching the basic underlying concepts and building up, so they can understand math at its core. I use a patient and engaging approach and tailor it to each individual to ensure that every student unlocks their potential. I want them to leave fully understanding and even enjoying math. Connection and empathy are at the core of my lessons. I don't believe that anyone is "bad" at math—it's just the way they've been taught. Everyone learns in different ways, and discovering how you learn best is crucial to succeeding in every subject.
