Hi, I’m Lana, a mechanical engineering student at Imperial College London (ranked 6th in the world). With extensive experience in tutoring and university admissions, I understand this journey firsthand. Having finished my own application cycle not too long ago, I have up to date information and can connect with applicants and communicate effectively.
I’ve received offers to study mechanical engineering at Imperial College London and UCL, and was pooled at Cambridge.
Fluent in English and Mandarin at a native level, I offer tutoring in both languages.

In these sessions, I will help you identify your highlights/strengths and what to include in your personal statement to maximise your chance of securing an interview or admission. I will review your drafts and help you tailor them to meet the unique expectations of each university. From brainstorming ideas to refining drafts, I’ll provide expert guidance to help you communicate your passion effective, write professionally, and showcase your academic potential.
Interview Practice:
Here, I will share my own experience and offer you insider insights into the interview process and address any questions you may have. Through mock interviews and tailored advice, I'll prepare you to confidently navigate your interviews and leave a lasting impression on admissions panels.
