About Lonnie
I’m a native English speaker with a passion for communication and helping others succeed. Over the years, I’ve worked with learners from many different backgrounds and understand how challenging (and rewarding!) learning a new language can be. I create a welcoming and professional environment where mistakes are simply part of the learning journey. My aim is to build your confidence as well as your skills, so you can use English comfortably in real life—not just in the classroom. Teaching is something I truly enjoy because it allows me to see students grow, find their voice, and achieve their personal goals. My lessons are friendly, relaxed, and completely tailored to you. Whether you want to improve your conversational English, prepare for work, or simply feel more confident in everyday situations, I’ll adjust the pace and style to match your learning needs. Each session lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour, giving us plenty of time to practise speaking, listening, and understanding English in a natural and enjoyable way. I use real-life examples, role-play, and interactive activities to make sure learning feels practical and fun. Lessons are open to all ages and levels—from beginners just starting out, to advanced learners looking to polish their fluency. Whether you’re studying alongside a course, preparing for travel, or learning for personal growth, you’ll find the lessons supportive and encouraging.
