About Lauriane

I am a qualified British Gymnastics coach and judge.
I am also a National Centre for Circus Arts degree student.

Trained as a contortionist, gymnast, dancer (and kick-boxer), artistic sports have always been part of my life.

The plurality of my background gives me an extended knowledge of various techniques to work on flexibility.

About the lesson

Do you want to do the splits? Are you interested in trying contortion skills such as chest stands, elbow stands and ring balance?

Maybe you practice an artistic sport (circus, gymnastics, dance, ice skating, pole dancing…) and feel that you would benefit from becoming more flexible - or maybe you are a complete novice and want to try something new.

Perfect! Lauriane is very good. My daughter wants to learn some gymnastic moves, but I couldn’t find the suitable one near me because of the time. I thought have a try online. I have been working with Mona every day for a week and a half now, and I can see great progress, especially with her splits. As we work on a daily basis, we focus more on legs one day and on back the other day. I am also teaching her new acro from rhythmic gymnastics to keep working on her flexibility in a fun way, and discover something different from artistic gymnastics. We also work on the parts of her floor routine she can do from home. Mona wanted to practice things she was able to do when she was younger, like chest rolls and chestands, and she is getting closer each time, well done!

Mellisa has great technique: her splits are square, she does every exercise with diligence. I have no doubt her flexibility will soon improve and she will be able to try new tricks for her pole dancing!
