About Michael Bekker
I am a student of International Business and Asian Studies at Copenhagen Business School, which is a 4-year programme in English and Chinese. My schooling has always been in English as I lived in London for 11 years and thereafter transferred to the IB (International Baccalaureate) before university. I spent 2 years studying to become a teacher at University College Absalon where English was my first major subject. I have experience as a private tutor for one-on-one sessions and have had an internship at a Danish school. My proficiency is between C1-C2 based on an IELTS band score of 8.0.

My teaching focuses on engaging the pupil in as much English as possible in a comfortable learning environment, in order to build up their confidence. I aim to facilitate dialogue and discussion so the pupil can learn to formulate their own thoughts into English, and as a result, raise motivation and proficiency. Students of all levels are welcome, and the tutoring is accomodative to any wishes of the pupil.
