About Dominika
Hi, I'm Dominika, an architect from Poland. I got my MSc in Architecture and Urban Planning about 5 years ago. I've mostly worked on residential buildings and the renovation of tenement houses, but recently I've been involved in office and private interiors.

Whether you want to get involved in the industry, are interested in architecture as a hobby, want to study architecture or are travelling around Europe - if you want to understand architecture better, you are welcome to join my classes.
We'll start with abstract principles and continue with examples.
Then we can go in the direction you're most interested in (whether it's the urban planning of happy cities or what's up with Italian piazza's or the conflict over modernism). For more practical aspects, you can also text me (everyone needs the right lighting in the kitchen).
I'll tell you what books are good to start with, or websites, or examples that are tailored to you.
I strongly encourage you to bring examples (e.g. a photo of a building/public space in your neighbourhood, or something you like that you have seen somewhere, or a building that has annoyed you) so that we can discuss them outside the 'lecture' part.
And have paper and pencil, just in case, you know, thinking "on paper" is cool for our brains.
