Hello future students! I'm excited for the opportunity to work with you and help you explore the wonders of music through piano playing. As your teacher, I promise to make our lessons engaging, educational, and most importantly - fun!
My top priority is nurturing a love and appreciation for music in each student. Lessons with me focus on more than just notes and scales - we'll explore music theory, history, different genres and composers, and the expressive artistry of piano performance (with a special eye on Italian music!). While we will certainly cover traditional technique and reading music, we'll also spend time on creativity, improvisation, and finding your own unique musical voice.
In addition to tailored lesson plans and skill-building, I strive to create a relaxed, positive environment where you feel comfortable learning, making mistakes, asking questions, and sharing your musical ideas. Remember: Italians are very friendly people! : ) My goal is for you to look forward to our time together each week. We'll combine focused hard work with laughter, joy, and plenty of musical discovery.
