I base my classes on specific ideas or concepts my students are struggling with and focus on teaching critical thinking and problem solving skills. For subjects like mathematics and physics, my students find it helpful when I review concepts and help them through practice problems. For English and Writing, I help students brainstorm topics and strong arguments and then check back in with them once they have a rough draft to go over editing strategies. I always structure my classes based on the student's feedback as well as suggestions and inputs from parents. I am friendly and approachable, easy to communicate with, and flexible!
