About Joy

My teaching methodology is centered around adapting to each student’s learning style. Whether you learn best through visual aids, hands-on practice, or theory, I tailor my approach to meet your needs. Flexibility is key, as I adjust lesson plans based on your progress and goals. I focus on keeping lessons motivating and enjoyable, helping you stay inspired and confident throughout your musical journey. With empathy, I create a supportive and stress-free environment where you feel comfortable expressing yourself. In addition to guitar, I also teach relevant subjects like music theory, ear training, and composition to enhance your overall musicianship.

About the lesson

With 5 years of experience teaching guitar to high school and college students, I am passionate about helping my students grow as musicians. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching around 250 students, guiding them through everything from basic chords to advanced improvisation. My goal is not just to teach guitar but to inspire my students to develop their unique musical voice. I’m proud of the progress my students make and the milestones they achieve, from mastering complex songs to building their confidence in performances.
