About Christian

I trained for 4 years 6 days a week when I was in my teens, moved away and at 20 came back. I had been teaching since age 12, upon coming back immediately went to teaching and was told I'm up for my black belt promotion after a 5 year break. Taught off an on through college at my instructors Dojo and had my own students in a park near my apt.
I grew up in rough neighborhoods, the skill and knowledge not only helped me defend myself but carry myself to this day in a manner that can turn conflicts into misunderstandings quickly. I've avoided more fights than I've won even against odds I couldn't beat. Situational awareness and calm and comfort under life threatening circumstances puts people off guard and can keep things from beginning.
I competed alot growing up along the south western US, taken 1st in multiple national, international and even a world tournament(was not world level hollow brag) in most all divisions competed in. Form and technique are my specialty which lend themselves great to fighting.

Timing and technique are the most powerful weapons in a fighters arsenal and I'll do my best to teach you to use them.

About the lesson

Kajukenbo is not so much a ring fighting sport, it's an efficient effective self defense system that employs the best parts of many arts. Students will learn to analyze, avoid, and defend against threats more common to the real world. After learning the basics, the level of intensity in training steps up to embed explosive actions into muscle memory. Learning to react to blows, how to fall, fight multiple opponents, identify and disarm hand weapons, and with the included Kung-Fu Wushu grace to tie it all together.

I offer traditional training as well, forms and weapons, staff training is an option to be included with sell defense.

Below is a video made by Fight Quest training with one of, if not the hardest, Kajukenbo training schools in California. I come from a different lineage within the art but have trained with that school at functions.
What is in that video is real, there honestly was not much show at all to what they portrayed.
1-10 thats a 10. After learning the basics I train around a 7 or 8, can adapt to a lower level but the intensity needs to be there to acclimate to being calm and prepared when the situation arises.

I'm willing to teach basic moves and defense techniques to those not capable or wanting intense training.
