About Chris
My name is Chris Chang, and I am thrilled to be your Chinese teacher!
I was born and raised in Taiwan where I developed a deep passion for the Chinese language and culture. I have been teaching Chinese as a foreign language for 7 years, and I find great joy in helping students like you explore the beauty of this language.
During my teaching career, I have had the privilege of working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and proficiency levels. Whether you are just starting your journey in learning Chinese or looking to enhance your existing skills, I am here to support you every step of the way.
In my lessons, I prioritize a communicative and immersive approach to language learning. This means that we will not only focus on mastering grammar and vocabulary but also on real-life communication scenarios. You can expect engaging activities, role-playing, and discussions that will help you become a confident and effective Chinese speaker.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy biking, indie music, and traveling I find that immersing myself in these activities not only enriches my own understanding but also allows me to bring unique perspectives into the class.
Let's get started and have a fantastic time exploring the Chinese language and culture together!
谢谢 (Xièxiè) - Thank you!
