About Kwaku

I am a 24 year old based in Milton Keynes via Kumasi, Ghana. As a former law grad who has left what many consider their "traditional" profession to venture into a more creative avenue I'm happy to teach anyone who would like to delve a little more into their creative side. I have been using Adobe's Creative Suite for the last 8 years or so. Which has given me a lot of opportunity and confidence in the softwares they offer, especially Photoshop. I've had the opportunity to freelance as a Graphic Designer for a wide range of clients, from individuals to large organisations. Having taught GCSE students the basics of graphic design over the last year or so I'd like to take another step and tutor eager, keen and creative students virtually! From Poster creation, flyer design and concept understanding to portfolio prep and everything in-between. I'm dedicated, loving with clear knowledge of the subject and ambitions in many disparate fields (religion, environmentalism, mission work among others) I'd like to share some of this knowledge/experience I've been blessed enough to learn with others who'd like to get into graphic design and visuals. Massive cinephile and culture head. Look forward to getting to teach and learn from you!

About the lesson

Photoshop and graphic design in general can be daunting. Comparison can kill a passionate and earnest hobby before it can ever take off but I believe with encouragement, assistance and tutoring graphic design is a skill you can learn to any level/degree. I would like to help you in that process. Tutoring cannot be done in a "one size fits all" approach. For remote sessions, I send out a Zoom Meeting invitation to you and give you access to my desktop. I can offer my assistance mainly with Photoshop but also with anything else that concerns graphic design and/or illustration. I like to teach in a relaxed manner with goals clearly set.
