As a tutor, my goal is to help students become confident problem-solvers in Chemistry, Physics, and Math. I believe that once students learn how to approach problems with a logical method, they can tackle even the most challenging questions.
I focus on problem-solving at the heart of my lessons. I guide students in breaking down complex problems into smaller, manageable parts and identifying key details. I also teach them how to use resources—like textbooks, online tools or formula sheets —so they can start solving problems with confidence. Throughout the process, I ensure they understand why each step is important, not just how to do it. I provide plenty of practice to help students refine their skills and build confidence.
In a typical lesson, we start by reviewing any challenges from previous work. Then, we break down a new problem together, identifying key information and developing a strategy. As the lesson progresses, I let students take control, offering support when needed. We end with a quick review, encouraging reflection on what they've learned.
My lessons are for anyone who wants to improve problem-solving skills, whether you're in high school preparing for exams, a university student tackling more advanced material, or someone outside the sciences needing help with basic science concepts. My goal is to empower students to confidently approach any problem, knowing they have the skills to solve it.
