About Alrik
I want to teach my future students because food is my passion, and I believe it’s more than just nourishment—it’s a beautiful blend of science, creativity, and culture. Over the years, I’ve gained invaluable experience working as a food product developer for major UK retailers, developing innovative products that bring joy to people’s lives. I want to share this knowledge and show my students how science underpins everything from creating flavours to perfecting textures. Teaching gives me the chance to inspire others, help them discover their potential, and prepare them for real-world challenges in the food industry. More importantly, I want to share the joy and pride that comes from turning an idea into something tangible, delicious, and meaningful. For me, teaching isn’t just about passing on knowledge—it’s about sparking curiosity, nurturing creativity, and shaping the future of food innovation.
